HISTORY

Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji

• According to the sikh history, Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji; after winning the battle over Abdul Khan; came here alongwith his followers. He spent 3 days here and enjoyed kirtan darbar.

History

• One morning, guruji did datun (slender tree twig) with tahli (Dalbergia sissoo) and plant it in the soil. As time passed away, this datun become a tree and still present in this gurudwara.

               

Tahli & Amrit Kund

          

• Holy kund (amrit kund) is emerged when guruji's horse kick the ground. Guruji has given blessing to this kund and said that all kind of illness related to body or mind will be gone by taking bath in this kund. A sarovar has been made by sangat, where anyone can take bath in this sarovar.

LANGAR

• The community kitchen called langar; in this gurudwara offers free meal to all of the devotees, without any distinction of cast, gender or religion.

KIRTAN

• Continuous paths and kirtan bring peace to mind and soul. Sangrand and Amavasya is celebrated here every month by devotees.
